Medieval Knights
The Middle Age was heavily influenced by the feudal system, knights, and their servants. When we think of the Medieval times, we often think of the Medieval knights and their ladies first. It was the duty of a knight to learn how to fight and to serve their lord according to the Code of Chivalry. However this was an extremely violent era in both European and English history and practice in weaponry was essential in order to enhance skills in the two-handed sword, battle ax, mace, dagger and lance. A knight was expected to guard a Castle and to support his liege lord in medieval warfare. A knight's job was never as simple as it may have seemed and it required great responsibility to maintain the position. More information about the life of a knight can be found on this site.
